SCI Fellowship Grad

Rafer Willenberg received his PhD with Os Steward in 2015, and then received his MD at UCSD.  He completed a Neurology Residency at Cedars Sinai in 2021 and then went to Harvard’s department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to complete a specialty fellowship in spinal cord injury under Dr. Sunil Sabharwal.  He graduated from the SCI fellowship program this month!  

Rafer will continue at the VA as an Advanced Fellow in SCI Research.
